What is actually in them

A proper door with a lock. Windows for daylight and for seeing who is walking up. Lights. Heat and air conditioning, which in South Dakota is not optional in either direction. Power outlets. Shelving added if you want it.

That is a complete office rather than a shell you then have to fit out.

Why ground level beats a trailer

Nothing to climb. Deliveries and equipment go straight in at grade, which matters if you are moving anything heavier than a laptop. It sits flat on the ground rather than on jacks, so it does not need levelling or re-levelling after a wet week.

And being a steel container, it locks up properly at the end of the day. A job site office that can be walked into overnight is a liability rather than an asset.

Who rents them

Construction crews wanting a site office that survives the weather. Contractors on remote jobs where there is nowhere to sit down. Businesses mid-renovation who need somewhere for staff to work meanwhile. Anyone running a project that outgrew a pickup cab.

No minimum term

A fortnight or two years, whatever the project actually takes. Daron, who also runs Wheelhouse Auto Body here in Pierre, would rather you kept it as long as you need than rushed to give it back.
